Konawaena Middle School students collected nonperishable food items as admission to the school’s Winter Dance to help support the Food Basket. A total of 486 pounds of food was collected. Student leaders were challenged to “can-struct” displays using cans and boxes. One display was built in the shape of a peace sign with the phrase “Peas on Earth” spelled underneath.
